We are incredibly proud to announce that Tondu RFC has officially been awarded WRU Platinum Accreditation – the highest level of recognition available under the Welsh Rugby Union’s new Club Investment Model for the 2026/27 season. This prestigious award recognises excellence both on and off the field, celebrating clubs that demonstrate outstanding standards in governance, safeguarding, community engagement, volunteer development, inclusion, sustainability and player development.
This achievement belongs to every single person connected with our club. From our dedicated volunteers, committee members, coaches, team managers and players, to our parents, supporters and sponsors – every one of you has played a part in making Tondu RFC the club it is today.
For nearly 150 years, Tondu RFC has been at the heart of our community. Being recognised as a Platinum Club is a reflection of the passion, commitment and hard work that goes into making Pandy Park a welcoming home for rugby at every level.
While this is a fantastic milestone, it is also a platform to build on. We remain committed to growing the game, supporting our community and ensuring Tondu RFC continues to thrive for generations to come.
